“When my daughter hit puberty she started to suffer from spots which made her feel really self conscious. Whilst I knew what skin care products worked for me, I wasn’t sure what was appropriate for her skin. I tried the big beauty shops and bought many expensive brands for her however, I kept getting contradictory advice and her skin seemed to be getting worse. Lou reviewed all the products my daughter was using during the skin consultation and explained why some of the ingredients were indeed harmful and making my daughter’s skin complaints worse. She also explained the link between gut and skin health. My daughter really took this on board and came home making plans about how she could hit her 5 a day and stay hydrated. She also stopped asking me for processed food!
Lou did a facial with my daughter, extracting some of her larger spots, fully cleansing and exfoliating the skin and finished with a mask to hydrate my daughter’s skin.
Lou suggested which of our remaining products we ditched and which ones we use up. She recommended an affordable range for my daughter that would help address her skin concerns.
The difference after one facial in combination with switching to Lou’s recommended skin routine was amazing.
My daughter felt more confident and happy and she excitedly put on her birthday and Christmas lists all the products family and friends could buy that would compliment her new skin routine.
My daughter has started saving up pocket money and started a little job so she can afford regular facials and I am super proud of her.
Lou has been so amazing in helping my daughter to literally feel comfortable and confident in her own skin. Anyone with teenage kids will know how horrid other children can be pointing out spots etc and how this can affect their teens confidence.
